Job Title: Logistics & Fleet Coordinator

Job Purpose
The Logistics & Fleet Coordinator is responsible for coordinating logistics and fleet operations to ensure the timely movement of vehicles, personnel, and materials. The role supports field operations through efficient fleet management, logistics planning, reporting, and operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- – Coordinate and support daily logistics and field operations to ensure timely execution of business activities.
- – Plan and monitor vehicle schedules, utilization, and movement to maximize operational efficiency.
- – Source, coordinate, and deploy new, additional, and replacement fleet within short turnaround times to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- – Liaise with vehicle owners, transport providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure fleet availability and operational readiness.
- – Coordinate the dispatch and collection of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from field teams.
- – Track vehicle servicing, maintenance schedules, insurance, inspections, fuel consumption, and mileage records.
- – Prepare, analyze, and submit daily, weekly, and monthly logistics and fleet performance reports, dashboards, and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- – Compile operational reports, monitor key logistics KPIs, and provide insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
- – Maintain accurate records of fleet utilization, inventory, and logistics documentation.
- – Support the planning and coordination of staff travel and field deployments.
- – Ensure compliance with company logistics policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- – Identify logistics challenges and recommend practical solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- – Provide administrative support to the Operations team and perform any other duties assigned by management.
- -Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- – Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- – 2–4 years’ experience in logistics, fleet coordination, or transport operations.
- – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- – Valid Kenyan driving licence
